The Philadelphia Wings have traded Kevin Finneran to the Toronto Rock in exchange for defenseman Drew Candy. The much-anticipated trade was completed late Wednesday afternoon. Finneran owns the longest games played streak in the history of the NLL (139). Finneran is the Wings all-time assists leader (281), and ranks second in Wings all-time goals scored (193) and all-time points (474). Candy played in nine games in his rookie season for the Rock last year.
Wings General Manager Marty O'Neil, spent the offseason rebuilding the Wings
defense. Maybe he should have focused on more on the offense.
